| | DAY 01 Copenhagen / Denmark
A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival Copenhagen Airport by your Tour Director following transfer to your hotel. - This evening join us for a welcome reception, brief orientation and for dinner at the hotel.

You start this morning with a sightseeing tour of Denmark's capital Copenhagen, a most pleasant harbor city with typical red-brick buildings and green copper roofs. See first the former royal summer pavilion Rosenborg Slot, built during the 17th century. You travel along the Latin Quarter with its Observatory Tower and find further south Christiansborg Slot. Visit Copenhagen's National Museum with a fine collection of Greek and Roman antiquities and early Viking ships. You stop at famous Tivoli Gardens, an amusement park with a variety of outdoor activities and arrive at the Carlsberg Brewery to tour the inside. Just taste a free beer or two before you spend your lunch time in the pedestrian zone of Strøget Street. - Early afternoon your motorcoach takes you out of town by way of the Little Mermaid and on to Frederiksborg to see that beautiful castle right amidst a lake and visit its Museum of National History. - Late, return to Copenhagen and enjoy the rest of the day as you please. - Perhaps you spend this evening at Tivoli Gardens to enjoy a music performance while having dinner.

Your morning transfer takes you back to the airport for your flight to Stockholm - Your Tour Director welcomes you right at the airport with a transfer to your hotel. - Join us tonight for another welcome cocktail, brief orientation before your dinner at the hotel-restaurant.

Your morning tour of Stockholm, spread to 12 other adjacent islands, its beautiful waterways, magnificent monuments and green parks will start with a visit at the National Museum. - You will see the Royal Opera House and the crowned City Hall at the waterway with an office that awards the annual Swedish Nobel Prize. - The tour leads back to the city center by way of the Parliament Buildings to the ancient church Riddarholm to see tombs of over 200 Swedish monarchs and nobility. Then you arrive at the city's Cathedral and Royal Palace, the King's and Queen's official residence, to visit some of the State Rooms. - Following your lunch break you participate in an afternoon excursion to the Open-Air-Museum of Skansen that shows you a variety of centuries-old farmhouses, old churches and craftsmen's workshops.

During the morning you leave for Stockholm's airport and depart on a scheduled flight to Helsinki - Upon arrival airport a warm welcome awaits you by your Tour Director and a motorcoach transfer to your hotel. - Join your Tour Director here in Helsinki too, for a welcome reception, brief orientation and for dinner at the hotel.

Your motor-coach takes you on a sightseeing tour of this gracious city situated on a peninsula. Your first visit will be of the National Museum, illustrating Finland's history. - Then your sightseeing leads to the unique church Temppeliaukion, blasted from a solid rock and topped with a copper dome. - Next you will visit the Senate Square which is dominated by the impressive Lutheran Cathedral, designed by the famous German architect Ludwig Engel. Across the market place see the Presidential Palace and spend your lunch time in this area. - Then we drive to Seurasaari, a small island to visit its Open-Air-Museum. Time to stroll around and see dwellings of old Finnish farmhouses,manors and wooden houses from the 18th and 19th century.

Today we continue our journey with a flight to Norway's capital Oslo . - Upon arrival airport your Tour Director and motor-coach driver is waiting to take you to the center of the city, with a lovely setting at a large fjord. Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. - Again, you join your Tour Director later this day for a welcome cocktail, brief orientation and for dinner at the hotel.

Your morning sightseeing tour starts to visit first Oslo's famous Ski Jump where an elevator takes you up the tower for a splendid panoramic view of the city. - From here the tour leads south by way of the King's Palace to the National Gallery. - You see the Parliament building and will visit the Cathedral, built during the late 17th century. - Nearby see the city's Akershus Festning, a fortified palace in Renaissance style. - Right here at the quay side of Aker Brygge spend your lunch time. - Following this break you visit the Norwegian Folkmuseum, a great park with over 150 original buildings of ancient times. - During the afternoon return to your hotel in time for your farewell dinner. As a surprise there will be a drawing of valuable goods with everyone winning a present.

With your airport transfer an unforgettable tour of Scandinavia's capitals comes to an end. - Your Tour Director bids farewell before your flight takes you home.
