| | DAY 01 Milan
A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival Milan Airport by your Tour Director. Transfer by motorcoach to your hotel. This evening join us for a welcome cocktail and brief orientation (4 overnights at Holiday Inn Linate). | | | | | | DAY 02 Milan (city sightseeing)
After a good breakfast you start this morning with a sightseeing of Milan, capital of Italy's Lombardy.We stop first at Piazza del Duomo and it's church with over 2.000 marble statues and spires. The inside of the Cathedral, one of the largest in the world and built during the 14th century in Gothic style will show great aisles, magnificent pillars,
beautiful stained glass windows and a huge hanging crucifix designed by Leonardo da Vinci. From the cathedral's terrace enjoy a memorable view of the city. Among further sights you will view the brick castle Castello Sforzesco of the 15th century which houses some of Italy's most important art collections, the 17th century Palazzo del Ambrosiana and it's famous OperaHouse La Scala. Around lunch time you stop at most celebrated Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, covered by a roof of glass with many shops, cafes and restaurants. - Time is yours now to browse around before your motorcoach takes you back to the hotel in time for dinner.
Meals: B&D. | | | | | | DAY 03 Excursion: Verona – Venice
A beautiful day tour is waiting this morning with a drive via Lago di Garda to medieval Verona, home and rest places of Romeo and Juliet. An orientation drive shows delightful buildings of Roman and Venetian architecture, the impressive and fortified Castelvecchio and its main sight the Roman Arena, an open-air opera place with a seating for 25.000 spectators. Following this stop we continue to enchanting Venice on the Adriatic Sea. From Piazzale Roma we take a boat to Piazza San Marco on picturesque Canal Grande, lined with magnificent palazzos and linked by numerous footbridges like the most famous Ponte di Rialto. On San Marco Square with it's arcades and watchtower Campanile you will see the pink Doges' Palace, a masterpiece of Venetian construction and visit the great Basilica di San Marco of the 11th century with a rich interior ofmarble and gilded mosaics. Ample time is yours to stroll around or take a gondola cruise before we return to Milan with a stop and possibility for having dinner en route.

Lugano – Lake Como
A scenic morning drive leads first to dream-like Lago Maggiore shares it shores with Locarno in Switzerland. Known for its annual Film Festivals an orientation drive will show Locarno's 15th century castello Visconti and its pilgrim church Madonna del Sasso overlooking the city. Enjoy from here a panoramic view of the brilliant lake and see adjacent Ascona. - The route continues along wooden slopes and soon arriving most picturesque Lugano on its lake between the gentle peaks of Mt. Bre and Salvatore rising up to about 3.000 feet. See the inviting Parco Civico, a delightful park and garden with a splendid promenade and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with fine decorated Renaissance doorways of the 17th century. Journey along the lake of Lugano and via Porlezza we arrive beautiful Lago di Como, passing attractive villas and gardens with a stop at Como, surrounded by wooden hills, cypresses and olive trees. An orientation drive will lead to the old Villa Olmo with its beautiful park on a hillwhich allows a good view of the city. See Basilica Sant Abbondio from the 11th century, one of the most magnificent churches, the Roman Cathedral of 14th century at Piazzadel Duomoand Torre Vittoria, remains of an ancient fortification. Following this stop we drive back to our hotel in Milan. With your farewell dinner this evening there will be a drawing with everyone winning a valuable gift.

Following breakfast and during the morning your motorcoach is waiting for your transfer to Milan Airport. Say good-bye to this enchanting and romantic leisure tour of Italy – or why not extend your stay with us...!
