DAY 01 Geneva
A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival Geneva Airport by your Tour Director, following transfer to your booked hotel. - Early afternoon enjoy a sightseeing of Geneva, head quarter of various international organizations like Red Cross and second seat of United Nations. You visit the Old Town and see its Reformation Monument of Calvin, St. Peter's Cathedral with beginnings of the 12th century, the beautiful City Hall and impressive Palais des Nations. There will be a stop at the harbor quay near Jet d'eau to view the world's tallest Fountain plays to a height up 470 ft. You may relax here or browse around before we return to our hotel for a welcome reception at the evening (2 overnights at Hotel Cornavin).
DAY 02 Lausanne - Vevey - Montreux - Evian
Join us today on a leisure tour around scenic Lake Geneva passing beautiful chalets and vineyards on its Swiss and French side. Your sightseeing starts in Lausanne to visit the old city center with its market square, see its remarkable City Hall of Renaissance architecture, beautiful fountains and the 12th century Gothic Cathedral. From here your drive leads to the lakefront with magnificent views of the city and mountains. - Within a few minutes arrive at the holiday resort Vevey, facing the lake and Alps in the background, home of Swiss milk and chocolate products and last resting place of Charly Chaplin. - Following a break the sightseeing continues to the Music Festival city of Montreux stretches along the shore. After an orientation drive we stop for an easy walk on its lake side promenade with a good view to the Chillon Castle, made famous by Lord Byron's "The Prisoner of Chillon". -At St.-Gingolph we enter the French border and shortly afterwards arriving at the lovely spa-resort of Evian-Les-Bains, surrounded by a splendid landscape. Enjoy this beautiful resort and its well-kept parks and gardens before we return to our hotel in Geneva.

DAY 03 Geneva - Chamonix - Zermatt
Your morning starts with a beautiful drive into France with our first break at Chamonix, oldest winter sports resort amidst the most spectacular French Alpine area.See picturesque chalets, browse through fancy shops and watch mountaineers who come to climb Mont Blanc, with over 15.000 feet Europe's highest mountain. - Time is yours before we leave again this breathtaking mountain village. Back to Switzerland and by way of Visp to Taesch where we board a cog-wheel shuttle train to Zermatt. Following hotel check-in enjoy the rest of the afternoon this traffic-free Alpine resort which provides a magnificent view of the mountain Matterhorn appearing as an inclined pyramid. Walk the charming pedestrian zone lined with beautiful Swiss homes adorned with flowers and inviting outdoor cafes before we have dinner tonight at one of Zermatt's fine restaurants.

DAY 04 Zermatt - Locarno - Lugano
We leave Zermatt this morning driving through valleys of snowcapped mountains crossing over the impressive Simplon Pass and stop at Locarno on dream-like lake Lago Maggiore, shares its shores with Italy. Known for its annual Film Festivals an orientation drive will show Locarno's 15th century castle Castello Visconti and of same century its Monastry Madonna del Sasso, a pilgrim church overlooking the city from a hill. Enjoy from here a panoramic view of Locarno, adjacent Ascona and of its most brilliant gem Lago Maggiore. - During the afternoon the route continues along wooden slopes and arriving soon most picturesque Lugano on its lake between the gently peaks of Mt. Bre and Mt. Salvadore rising up to about 3.000 feet. You will see Parco Civico, a delightful park and garden with a magnificent promenade along the lake shore and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, built during the 17th century with fine decorated doorways in Renaissance style.

DAY 05 Lugano - Lake Como - St. Moritz
Another beautiful day tour is waiting this morning as we enjoy Lombardy's lake region Lago di Como and its Alps in Italy. Passing attractive villas and gardens and driving through a lovely landscape before we re-enter Switzer-land at the border of Chiavenna. We motor up the Majola Pass along the glacier lake Silvaplana and arrive the mountain mecca St. Moritz which has enjoyed unparalleled popularity for centuries! An orientation drive of this twin resort "Dorf" and "Bad" will show you sights like the world's oldest ski school, the Swiss "Leaning Campanile" and its spa quarter that has been used for a long time. -Transfer to your hotel in time for freshen up and dinner.

DAY 06 St. Moritz - Vaduz - Lindau on Lake Constance
A scenic morning drive leads through the Swiss Rhine Valley by way of Chur to the Principality of Liechtenstein with a stop at its capital Vaduz, situated at the foot of the imposing medieval castle. Known as the smallest sovereign state and famous for its artistic and colorful stamps, Liechtenstein has become part of the Swiss Confederation in 1919. Spend some time on your own before we travel to lovely Werdenberg in Switzerland on a side trip to view its dominating castle on a picturesque lake and preserved burgher houses with some dating back to the 15th century still in its original architecture. Following a break we leave this unique place and continue with our today's route via Bregenz in Austria to peninsula Lindau in Germany's Bavaria on three-country Lake Constance shares its fertile shores with Austria and Switzerland. As cars are out of bound here an easy walking tour of this picturesque medieval town will show you the 14th century Prison Tower, the beautiful City Hall of Renaissance with great facade paintings and its old light house and lion monument commanding the entrance of the lively port.

DAY 07 Lindau - Castle Neuschwanstein - Munich
This morning your motorcoach takes you via Fuessen right into the Bavarian Alps to King Ludwig's fairy-tale Castle Neuschwanstein. The inside tour offers unforgettable impressions of fine wood-carvings, colorful wall paintings showing scenes of Richard Wagner's most popular operas, the Singers Hall with magnificent chandeliers and tapestries, an artificial grotto and some other apartments of much interest. - From the Marienbruecke outside, which spans a deep gorge enjoy a most beautiful view of the Upper Bavarian mountains and its lakes before we have lunch down in the village of Hohenschwangau. -On the way to Munich stop and see the Church in the Meadows right amidst the Ammergau Alps. See the wonderful interior of marvelous wood-carvings, frescoes, stuccoes and colorful paintings, a masterpiece of the 18th century by the Bavarian artist D. Zimmermann. -Finally and during the late afternoon arrive at Bavaria's capital Munich, Germany's cultural and artistic center.

DAY 08 Munich
Your morning city sightseeing will start with Munich's landmark the Church of our Lady, the splendid Sendlinger Gate, the beautiful City Hall with its famous Glockenspiel and the most celebrated Hofbraeuhaus that doesn't need much explanation. You will view the Residenz Palace, built during the 14th century for the former Bavarian Dukes. See the Olympic Stadium of 1972, the Nymphenburg Palace surrounded by a beautiful park and visit here the Royal Horse Carriage Museum with a great display of splendid coaches, sedan-chairs, the coronation coach of Emperor Karl VII and incomparable sledges of eccentric King Ludwig II. - The rest of the afternoon is yours to shop or browse around. Tonight you are invited for dinner at one of Munich's famous restaurants with local music and folklore entertainment. While you have dinner there will be a drawing of valuable goods with everyone winning a present. We are sure you will enjoy this last evening with us in Bavaria!

DAY 09 Munich - Last day of tour
After breakfast this unforgettable package tour with most spectacular sights of Switzerland, of Italy's picturesque lake district, the Principality of Liechtenstein and of hospitable Bavaria ends with your transfer to the airport of Munich. Say now „Auf Wiedersehen” to your Tour Director and to the Old European World before you return.
