Take advantage of a fascinating package tour starting in charming Paris and the palace of Versailles. Visit historic Reims with a tasting in one of its world famous champagne cellars. Explore the capital Luxembourg City with its complex of tunnels and fortifications. Travel along the lovely Moselle River and enjoy a Rhine River cruise passing vineyards, villages and castles. See Old Heidelberg and journey back to the Middle Ages when visiting medieval Rothenburg and Dinkelsbuehl on the Romantic Road. End your tour in Bavaria's capital Munich with traditional music and folklore entertainment!
DAY 01 Paris
A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival Paris Airport by your Tour Director. Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. - Join your Tour Director this evening for a welcome reception at the hotel. (2 overnights at Holida Inn La Villette).
DAY 02 Paris
Your morning sightseeing tour of Paris starts with the landmark Eiffel Tower, going up by elevator to its 2nd level. Enjoy from here a splendid view of the city before we continue our drive, crossing over the Seine River to see the Arc de Triomphe, planned by Napoleon. Stretch away from it you drive on famous Champs-Elysees and arrive at Place de la Concorde, where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were guillotined. - Further east we stop again at Notre Dame to visit this Cathedral, completed during the 14th century - temporary home of Hollywood's Quasimodo. You tour the inside and see masterpieces of medieval art and its organ. - Continue with a stop at Les Invalides to visit its Dome, where Napoleon is buried. - Following a lunch break we leave for Versailles to visit the palace of Sun King Louis XIV, built about 300 years ago and surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden. See magnificent apartments, where the Queen and King actually used to live, the royal bedrooms and the Hall of Mirrors. - During the afternoon return to your hotel in time for dinner.

DAY 03 Paris – Reims – Luxembourg
Today we travel eastwards along the vineyards of champagne with a stop at Reims to visit its Cathedral and one of the chalky tunnels which serve as a damp berth for thousands of champagne bottles. Try a free sample here or two. - The route continues along the battlefields of Verdun to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and its capital city. - Freshen up and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 04 Luxembourg – Moselle Valley – Ruedesheim
The morning tour of Luxembourg City will show its old city fortifications and Casemates, a remarkable complex of tunnels and fortresses. You visit Eglise St-Michel, a beautiful church of Gothic style with an altar-masterpiece of the 17th century and an impressive Baroque organ. Following a stop at the old city quarter with its fish market, our motorcoach takes us into Germany by way of Trier, 2.000 years ago the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. We journey further along the lovely Moselle River. Arriving Koblenz to view its commanding Citadel Ehrenbreitstein before we continue to quaint Ruedesheim on the Rhine River. - Tonight, you are invited for dinner at one of the local wine restaurants on famous Drosselgasse, an alley with a medieval appearance.

DAY 05 Ruedesheim – Rhine River Cruise – Heidelberg
This morning you board for a most popular Rhine River cruise. Your cruise glides along the legendary Loreley Rock where mermaids are said to have lured sailors to their death. - You disembark at St. Goarshausen at the foot of Castle Katz overlooking the Rhine Valley. -Following a break you continue to Heidelberg, Germany's heart of Romanticism. - Upon check-in and freshen up at your hotel you participate in a sightseeing tour of this beautiful town. See Heidelberg's old University of the 14th century, a Knight Mansion from 1592 and the picturesque Marktplatz. Drive up the castle hill and visit its museum with the great Wine Vat. From the castle terrace finally enjoy amarvelous view down the old city and its Neckar River. - Return to your hotel in time for dinner.

DAY 06 Heidelberg – Romantic Road – Munich
We leave Heidelberg by way of lovely valleys to Germany's Romantic Road with a stop at Rothenburg. Picturesque situated on the Tauber River, the town appears with towers, gates and fountains, almost untouched since the Thirty-Years-War! On a walking tour see its old Town Hall of both Renaissance and Gothic architecture and St. James Church with a beautiful altar by woodcarver Tilman Riemenschneider. - Time is yours before we travel to Dinkelsbuehl to see here medieval ramparts and watch-towers too, still surrounding this town since the 14th and 15th century. You visit the old market place, St. George's Church and Deutsches Haus, amost attractive half-timbered building. - Ample time to stroll the alleys before your motorcoach takes you to Bavaria's capital Munich for dinner and overnight.

DAY 07 Munich
You start your morning sightseeing with Munich's Gothic landmark the Church of our Lady, you will see the splendid Sendlinger Gate, the beautiful City Hall with its famous Glockenspiel and the most celebrated Hofbraeuhaus. View the Residenz Palace, see the Olympic Stadium of 1972, the Nymphenburg Palace surrounded by a beautiful park and visit its Royal Horse Carriage Museum. - Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, shop or browse around in Munich's pedestrian zone. - Tonight you are invited for dinner at one of the famous restaurants with local music and Bavarian folklore entertainment. With your dinner there will be a drawing of valuable goods with everyone winning a present!

DAY 08 Munich – Last day of tour
Following breakfast you leave for Munich Airport. - Here ends your fascinating package tour. - Say good bye to your Tour Director and have a happy return.
