DAY 01 Prague/Czechia
A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival Prague Airport with a transfer to your hotel. - Spend the rest of the afternoon as you please. This evening join us for a welcome reception and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 02 Prague
You start your morning with a beautiful city sightseeing tour first of the castle district Hradcany rising on a rock to see the Royal Castle with its giant statues and courtyards. Right next to the castle visit St. Vitus Cathedral with two spires and an onion dome, built during the 14th century. You will see the Royal Palace, former residence of the
Bohemian Lords from the 11th to 17th centuries where some defenders of Catholic faith were thrown out of a window which actually caused the beginning of the Thirty Years War. Continue your city tour to Prague's Lower town section to view its great Charles Bridge crossing the river Vltava, decorated with splendid Baroque statues. - See also the Old Town Square and its historic City Hall, the monument of reformer Jan Hus and the most famous 500-years old Astronomical Clock with a procession of Apostles and other remarkable figures. - The afternoon is at your complete disposal.

DAY 03 Prague – Bad Schandau – Elbe valle embarking – Dresden
After breakfast you leave Prague this morning passing quaint Bohemian towns and soon arrive the border for Germany and its spa resort Bad Schandau. Beautiful situated amid the Elbsandstein Mountains with deep gorges cut out of rocks means one of East Germany's most scenic regions, also called Saxony's „Switzerland”. See its Fortress Koenigstein, dominating here Saxony's Elbe Valley and Bastei Belvedere, a most impressive rock formation permits a breathtaking panoramic view. - Around noon you board your floating hotel MS Mona Lisa for a welcome reception and on the Elbe river head for Dresden's restored beauty of splendid architecture and treasures of art. - An afternoon sightseeing tour of the so called „Florence of the Elbe” will show the city's historic district and its restored famous Semper Opera House that has seen premiers of Wagner and Strauss. You also will see the Zwinger Palace with its Carillon Pavilion of Baroque style and the Bath of the Nymphs, a masterpiece of fountains and grottoes. - Time is yours to browse around before we return to our ship in time for dinner.

DAY 04 Dresden – Meissen – Torgau
During the morning arrive at small town Meissen, famed for its unique porcelain. Watch a workshop demonstration at the Porzellan-Manufaktur and visit its museum with a great collection of Meissen porcelain. - Shop or stroll around before our cruise winds along to Torgau and its historic bridge where American and Russian armed forces met early 1945 to join hands. - An orientation walk will show you the memorial in commemoration of this event and a beautiful courtyard of Castle Hartenfels. - Enjoy a pre-evening stroll on the town's quaint streets or just relax at one of its outside cafes before your dinner aboard. - Later tonight your floating hotel leaves slowly Torgau.

DAY 05 Wittenberg –Dessau – Magdeburg
Following breakfast your day starts with a sightseeing of Wittenberg, hometown of Martin Luther who posted in 1517 his 95 Complaints at the Gates of the Palace Church challenging the pope in Rome. The inside of this Schlosskirche shows an outstanding altar and marvelous paintings by Lucas Cranach. - Free time before we return to our ship for lunch and slide smoothly along the Flaeming Forest to Dessau for the next stop. - A short motor-coach drive takes you to theWoerlitz Park to visit here its Gothic Mansion with a fine collection of ancient weapons, paintings and sculptures. - Enjoy a walk through this lovely park, well provided with a charming canal system. - Then your cruise continues to Magdeburg with an evening arrival. - After dinner join your Tour Director for an easy orientation walk.

DAY 06 Magdeburg – Potsdam
The morning tour of historic Magdeburg, founded by Emperor Otto I the Great during the 10th century starts with the mighty Dom and Gothic landmark of the 13th century. See a number of carved statues, including of Emperor Otto and his wife Editha in the quaint chapel Mary. Visit also the 11th century Abbey of our Ladies, founded by Augustian monks, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. -We stop at the city's remarkable Town Hall for some free time to meet afterwards our floating hotel at Parey in time for lunch. Soon we cross into the Elbe-Havel Canal while our ship glides now through unspoiled woodland. The route leads by way of former Prussian city Brandenburg and with an evening arrival at Potsdam, during the 18th century embellished in the style of Versailles by King Friedrich the Great.

DAY 07 Potsdam – Berlin
This morning you will enjoy a breathtaking tour of Potsdam's Sanssouci Palace and its beautiful park. See the interior of this elegant summer residence of former King Friedrich the Great with a collection of art treasures. Step up the grand staircase to observe its magnificent facade and Concert Hall with rich decorations. Admire also the picturesque park and its Chinese Tea House with gilded statues. - Another attraction is waiting at Cecilienhof where Truman, Attlee and Stalin have signed the Potsdam agreement in August 1945 dividing Germany. - Join for lunch aboard and continue your cruise now to its final destination Berlin. - An afternoon sightseeing tour starts with a drive of sweeping avenue Unter den Linden, passing its landmark Brandenburg Gate with a photo stop and along the former Reichstag building that now houses the German Parliament. We stop at famous Checkpoint Charly, up to 1989 the crossing point between East and West Berlin. - You see the ruined Gedaechtniskirche, kept as a reminder of World War II destruction and arrive Kurfuerstendamm to browse on this prestigious boulevard with miles of art galleries, boutiques, antique shops, cafes, restaurants and night clubs. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure and later return to your floating hotel and enjoy tonight a festive gala dinner with music and entertainment.

DAY 08 Berlin – Last day of tour
After breakfast aboard its time to say good-bye to this metropolitan city of Berlin and to this delightful Elbe river cruise while your motor-coach and Tour Director takes you to the airport for your return flight.
